I just want to share some of our pictures of the Cariboo with the world.
I was born in Bowmanville Ontario, and was raised in the Cariboo from the age of 4. I then moved back to Ontario when I was 18 to get to know my relatives there and spent the next 18 years of my life in the remote town of Kearney in the wilderness.
I came back home to Quesnel in Central BC 7 years ago and will never leave. It is so beautiful here. There are so many lakes and rivers to fish, kayak, swim and boat in. Ice fishing in the winter, snowshoe, cross country ski and sledding. The mountains for camping and hiking are endless, I will never get to see or go to all of them in my lifetime.
Of course we are in the hub of gold mining country, with Barkerville being a half hour drive from home.

Please enjoy as you navigate through the Cariboo with me 🙂
